No shipments will be made to anyone under
21 years of age.
Insurance:
Rochambeau charges a 1% fee for insurance
on all items shipped outside of Westchester
County, New York City, and Long Island
via
UPS.
Shipping and Handling Costs:
The following costs are automatically calculated based on your
order and destination:
New York State:
To: Westchester County, Bronx, Manhattan,
and Queens:
Cost: Free for purchases of over
$100, not including sales tax; $10 for purchases under
$100, not including sales tax
Outside New York State
(Excluding: FL, GA, IN, KY, NC, and TN)
Shipping and handling rates are based on the number
and size of the bottles ordered.
Terms & Conditions
Legal Age
You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase
wine. By placing an order with Rochambeau, you represent
to Rochambeau that you are at least 21 years of age.
All wines must be received by an individual who is
at least 21 years of age. Valid identification of
age may be required. If an order is returned for failure
to provide proper proof of age, the Buyer is responsible
for payment of all return shipping charges.
Item Availability and Pricing
While every effort has been made to stock sufficient
quantities of the wines set forth in our catalogs
and website and to verify accurate pricing, many wines
are made in small quantities with limited availability,
and are subject to fluctuating market demands. An
item may be listed as available in the catalog or
on the website, however, that item may in fact, have
sold out or fewer bottles remain than the website
indicates. Rochambeau will do its best to fill your
order but can not be held responsible if an item is
unobtainable at the time of order. If an item is unavailable
it will be omitted from the final invoice and any
applicable shipping charges will be adjusted. Prices
are subject to change without notice. Please note
that Rochambeau is not responsible for typographical
errors of any kind. We reserve the right to limit
quantities.
Cancellation
A restocking, change of mind and/or cancellation fee
of 7% will apply to any cancelled order that has been
processed.
Return Policy
All returns must be handled in-store and all returns
will be for store credit. Wines that are thought to
be 'off' must be returned to the store as quickly
as possible for evaluation by our staff. We will not
honor returns on wines that have been out of the store
for more than one year or any wine that was delivered
to an office, catering hall, country club, or any
location other than the purchaser's residence. Upon
delivery, Rochambeau Wines is not responsible for
any wine delivered to a third-party warehouse or storage
site.
Reserved and Unclaimed Wine
Full payment is due at the time of order. In the case
of reserved wines, all such wine will be held pending
payment for no more than 14 days, after which time
the 'reservation' for such wines will cease. You acknowledge
that Rochambeau Wines has no responsibility or liability
in connection with any wine left unclaimed at the
store for over 90 days from the time of sale.
