�It is one of the oldest in the region and, in days gone by, its products made an important contribution to the reputation of M�doc wines in France and abroad� � The quotes 1949 edition of the F�ret Guide. The vineyard was completely replanted in the mid 1970. Taken over in 1996 by Annick and Jean-Pierre Marie, the winemaking property was completely renovated. This Cru is today one of the appellation�s most renowned brands. It was confirmed as a Cru Bourgeois Sup�rieur in the 2003 ranking.

The 2003 Cambon La Pelouse offers chocolate, toasty oak, and black cherry characteristics in its medium-bodied, deep, modern, up-front, appealing style.
